Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sedona ...
is an energetic, quiet, playful and fun, four-year-old, 45-pound, female pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Sedona is a gentle, yet energetic soul who loves the company of other dogs in her foster home including Pugs, a Pekingese, a Lab, a Pointer, a Corgi, and a Pit Bull. She is also full of kisses and tail wags for people. She knows the commands: sit down, stay, shake, and she takes treats gently from your fingers.
Sedona has been living in a foster home for three years. While she's doing beautifully, she wishes she had her own family. The only reason this "perfect" dog has not found a home is her "pittie stigma" says her foster mom. Sedona is such a good girl. She gets along with every single dog she has ever met. And, she's sweet to people big and little. She's never growled, shown her teeth, absolutely no aggression whatsoever. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom and is so quiet she could live in an apartment or townhouse. She walks nicely on leash; rides well in the car. She takes direction well and wants to please. She loves toys and comes when she is called. She crates easily, takes a bath willingly, even tolerates tooth brushing and nail trimming. She is perfectly housebroken and does not destroy things in the house. She loves affection, gives kisses.
Sedona also loves running through the sprinkler at her foster mom's house. Her ideal home would have a fenced-in yard and another dog to play with. To meet and possibly adopt Sedona, please contact Kat Budrean at kbudrean@hotmail.com or 312-265-0601 or text 312-823-9930. She is being fostered in Libertyville, Illinois.
Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative.
