Alice's Story...
Hi, my name is Alice. I know – a very plain name for someone with my stunning beauty. Yes, I am a flame-point Siamese with icy, pale blue eyes. I got my name because I often wear a startled, concerned expression, as though I just fell down the rabbit hole and am trying to figure things out. That handsome orange fellow is my bro Cheshire. The place he and I came from can hardly be called Wonderland . I guess people who hoard cats think they are doing a good thing. Well good thing Abbey Cats took us in. Cheshire and I need to stay together, because I am uncertain of humans, and he just luuuuuuuuvs them! I like to romp and chase toys and wrestle with my bro, but people are kinda big scary things. However, when I watch Cheshire curled up and snoring (yes! He snores!) in a lap, or watch him purr and chirp and roll around while being petted, well I admit I sometimes don’t run from foster mom as fast as I could, and let her get some petting in. I followed Cheshire onto the bed and have found human legs are nice to sleep on. Foster mom has been patient with me, and now I will stand and wait for her to come and scratch my back, and I realized that being picked up is not the end of the world. And you know what, I really like having my tummy rubbed! Shhhhhh don’t tell foster mom, I think I like playing hard to get!

About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
Our Adoption Process...
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
175 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter)
90 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
