Moxie's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Moxie is a rolly-polly ball of fun. She tumbles and runs and races over to make sure you're still there and then pounces away again. She is soft and sweet, and she loves to come get her belly rubbed. She has a ready purr and has always been the first kitten to do everything. She is playful and fun, and is independent enough to be adopted on her own or into a home with another kitty already in place. She would do well with children too!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moxie, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
