Nanny Ducky is Miss Lissy and Choco's mom. She and her pups were found in a junkyard, and she was such a good mom! She keep them safe in a very dangerous environment, and now it's her turn for a forever home. Ducky is about 4 years old, and is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, crate trained and has completed a basic obedience class. Nanny Ducky gets along with most dogs, but can be a little protective (not surprising, given her history.) She would probably prefer a home without cats. She is a happy, happy girl, and would love to have   couch to snuggle on, some green grass to roll in and a forever home where she will always feel safe.

All the adoptable AARF dogs are in foster homes to get them ready for their forever homes. If you are interested in meeting one of our adorable pooches, please fill out our adoption application and we'll get back to you with any questions. Then we can schedule a time for the two of you to meet!

Our Adoption Process...

All AARF dogs have all received their shots, are on heartworm and flea preventative, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. All AARF pets are fostered in loving foster homes, where they receive love and attention, beginning training and socialization. We have a group of fantastic fosters who help us to create an adoptable and healthy companion for your home.

We don't "sell" dogs here at AARF. But we do ask for a minimum adoption donation to help us cover the cost of all of the vet care the dogs have received. Effective, January 1, 2010, our adoption donation is $225 for dogs. All adoption donations are tax-deductible, and help AARF continue our rescue and adoption program.
