Luce's Story...
Luce is a brindle and white 2yr old pitbull mix. She was found by an employee of one of our fosters and we were able to get her settled in. She is a hefty girl weighing about 65 lbs but that only means there is more of her to love. Here is what her current foster had to say about her. "Luce is an amazingly affectionate dog. She wants nothing more than to be where you are. She loves to show her affection by laying down next to you and giving you a lot of kisses. She is always in a good mood. She listens well, is potty trained and is almost completely crate trained (needs to be walked to crate, but goes right in and waits). I talk to her and tell her all about the good stuff is happening, and boy she just gets so excited. She may not know what I am talking about, but she sure is happy for me. She is great around my toddler and pays no mind to her kitty companions. When she met our dogs, she just laid on her back, to let everyone know that she is there to be friends and now she gives her doggie friends kisses. About Our Rescue Group...
SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
