Benny's Story...
** Adoption Pending! ** Hello, my name is Benny. I am a Weim pup that is about 1 yr. old or so. I am full of energy and the desire to learn. I would greatly benefit from obedience classes and will need them once I find my forever family.

I am neutered, UTD, and microchipped. I love playing with my k-9 pals and enjoying life. I will crate, but do protest, so my foster family leads me in with a leash. My coat is turning to a nice Weim color now. In my previous life I was left outside and my coat needs to be brushed to remove all that old hair. After that I will have a great coat. I am a funny guy, always looking for a laugh. But I am a big fella and would probably on accident knock down a smaller child.

I would love to find a family to love for the next 12-15 years. If that is your family, please email or call GLWR. Me and my buds are all waiting for that special family!!

Love from, BENNY

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
