Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Female ID#: JS
Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie and Clyde are 14 month old coonhounds from the same litter. They may have some foxhound genes mixed in, but are beautiful regardless. They were both pretty skinny when they arrived, so are still filling out their frames. They are currently about 30 lbs and stand 20 inches tall. Bonnie is a tri color and Clyde is the red and white one..

Bonnie and Clyde do not live up to their names! They are both extremely sweet and loving. Bonnie walks with a limp from a previous injury but it doesn't seem to slow her down. Both dogs are house and dog door trained. They are also spayed/neutered and up to date on all vetting.

Bonnie and Clyde are both playful but gentle. They get along well with the other dogs in the pack and will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family! It would be nice if they could stay together as they are bonded littermates, so if you have lots of room in your yard and heart, apply today to meet this pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Houston Coonhound/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Foxhound for sale in Houston, or seeking a Coonhound/Foxhound dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Foxhound breeders who help with Coonhound/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
