Pearl's Story...
PEARL is an adorable MH Tabby with yellow pearl highlights, born approx 7/6/12. Pearl and her two sibling sisters Crystal and Ruby were dropped off in a box inside Petco as their adandoners were spotted running out of the store. Perhaps they did not know what else to do and knew if they took them to the county shelter they would be euthanized within the week due to overcrowding. So, luckily these 3 sister siblings made it safely into Cat A Do where they are being cared for and made ready for adoption. Pearl is a very friendly girl who purrs almost all the time an has very soft fur. She is fun-loving kitty who loves to play and climb her cat tree. Pearl would prefer to have a kitty playmate in her new home. The top of the cat tree is her favorite place to sleep. Even though she is not a "lap cat" and does NOT like be held, she is a very loving kitty who loves to be pet and will purr and talk to you when she would like some attention. She's a sweetie pie! Pearl and siblings, as all Cat A Do cats/kittens all come FELV tested, vaccinated, spayed/nuetered, microchipped and with 30 days of free pet insurance. If you would be interested in knowing more about Pearl and siblings, or adopting from Cat A Do, please email your inquiry or completed consultation form (downloadable from www.CatAdo.org ) to Adoptions@CatADo.org.

Our Adoption Process...
It is the policy of Cat A Do Cat Co-Op that all potential cat adopters complete the Cat/Kitten Adoption Consultation Form and complete an interview with an Adoption Coordinator in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens.

Cat A Do will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with the Adoption Coordinator, Cat A Do may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.

Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Cat A Do is a privately run, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Mesa Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
