Meet Honey! She was surrendered to AGK because the owner had heart surgery and could no longer care for her. Honey is a 3 year old golden mix that is extremely sweet and social with other dogs, cats and children. She was recently treated for heart worms and is on the road to recovery. Honey spent her entire life in a pen but like most goldens, wants to live inside with her family. Honey has the most gorgeous eyes and is on the petite side. While getting her heart worm treatment, she showed the vet staff her true personality and layed on her back until someone rubbed her belly! She is a true golden girl!
