JACKIE's Story...
Jackie is a cute 7 month old kitty who is already spayed. This pretty girl was lucky enough to be in foster care until she was old enough to be adopted. While there, her foster mom taught her to use a scratching post and she now tolerates nail trimmings. Jackie's foster family gave her a nickname and now she responds to it! So sometimes we call her Blackjack instead of Jackie.

True to her young age, Jackie is very playful and loves having another cat to play with. She loved playing with the adult cat in her foster home. If your cat is looking for a friend to play with, Jackie could be just what your looking for! Jackie also really enjoys playing with toys that she can pick up with her paws. She can entertain herself for hours with those kinds of toys! Jackie would love to find a family soon. Please visit this sweetie today at Petsmart in Mantua!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JACKIE, a Clayton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Clayton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Clayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
