My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is a handsome, young Flatcoat Retriever Mix who was pulled from the kill shelter minutes before his time was up. He is about 4 years old weighing in at about 45 pounds. Oscar is a pet surrender because his family is moving. He is a regal looking dog with his coloring resembling a tuxedo. He holds a lot of character between his facial expressions and animated personality. He's a good dog. He is not an overly excitable dog yet not a mellow dog. He's a happy medium which makes him a winning combo. He still needs to learn manners as he gets very excited when he sees his human that he connected with. He'll jump up with open paws. We don't look at this as a negative. It means he sees the world in a 1/2 glass full mentality and hoping for the best with his future.
