My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Penny a sweet senior at 11yrs. Penny is a sweet & lovable Corgi mix she weighs approx 15lb, Late in her life she finds herself looking for a forever home that will love & cherish her and give her some stability through her golden years. Penny`s story is a sad one for most of her life she has been neglected forced to live outside in all the elements, Penny was taken into our vets by her elderly owners and then just abandoned. Penny was covered in ticks fleas and mites she also had a tumor. Left abandoned Lifeline were called to help this sweet senior who just sat there and never made a sound she was treated for the ticks had the tumor removed and brought up to date on all her shots. Penny spent 3 months with us in rehab and is now pronounced to be in excellent health most likely for the first time in her life. Despite her past she is a remarkable sweet girl she loves to walk around our grounds but is just as happy sitting on your lap or cuddling up next to you. Penny gets along with all our other dogs, she dosent mind cats and loves the attention of humans young and old. She loves car rides, baths & grooming she walks well on a leash, comes when called, she is housebroken and crate trained although she dosent need a crate. Although we love Penny she deserves a home of her own we have so many larger dogs at Lifeline it can be overwhelming for the smaller ones, Penny needs a home that can give her the love that she has been starved of for most of her life. Somewhere that is calmer than our facility, We are looking for her forever family that can provide cuddles and give her the comfort and love she so deserves. Penny is not a high maintenance dog she is laid back but still has energy. Penny would make a nice family dog or a wonderful companion for an older person. Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Pennys life complete again if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend. If you would like more information or would like to meet Penny Please call us at Lifeline 863-582-2150
