Madeline's Story...
Madeline is the opposite of that old saying - she's more like a sheep in wolf's clothing! Her wolfy look belie her docile manners. She's 1-2 years old, healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations. Her world has been turned upside down - she'd love to get back into a home instead of being at our shelter. For now though, Madeline is just happy to be anywhere! She and her "soulmate", Maddox (see his listing too) had just welcomed a huge litter of puppies to their family when their owner decided he didn't want any dogs any more (ever hear of spaying and neutering, bozo?!) Anyway, he took them to a shelter in Blue Ridge GA who had no space to spare. The shelter sent out a desperate plea for someone to take these dogs and pups in or they'd have no choice but to put them all to sleep in 24 hours! Homeless Pets Foundation was able to save mom, dad and pups. They're safe and sound with us until homes are found. Now it's your turn to save the day! Please consider giving Madeline the happy ending she deserves. Contact adoptions@homelesspets.com for more information or fax an application (found at homelesspets.com/adoptions) to 770-971-1292. Or come over for a petting session at 1343 Gresham Rd, Marietta 30062 (Mon-Thurs 8-8, Fri 8-6).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madeline, a Marietta Belgian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Belgian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Belgian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
