Female Jack Russell Terrier Mix

Mandy came to me on July 28, 2012. She was owned by a single man who was in a car accident. Mandy was in the car with him. The owner broke his neck and back and required extensive surgery; Mandy came out unscathed. He was scheduled for surgery and from the hospital would go to an assisted living situation and Mandy was not allowed.

I took Mandy as a foster, she went to my vet, all shots are up to date. She has been on Comfortis for prevention of fleas. Mandy is a very sweet and loving JRT mix. She is an avid hunter and does well walking on a leash. She is spayed.

At home, Mandy is an excellent dog; she loves her walks but best of all, she will go to the door to let me know she is ready to pee or poop. She does not mark in the house and she is not a nuisance barker. She loves her belly rubs and will sit next to you filled with contentment. I am looking for a family that has a laid back lifestyle; someone who can spend a lot of time with her. She would do great with a fenced in yard. The apartment living is difficult for me with walking especially when the weather gets cold.
