My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cami is Dog Star's tiny one-eyed wonder dog. She originally came to us over a year ago, and was adopted. Unfortunately, through no fault of her own, the adoption did not stick and she is back with us.

Cami is an adorable little pocket Pittie who weighs all of 28 lbs, and she is full grown! Everyone always thinks she is a puppy, but she is almost three years old. She is spayed, up to date on shots, hw neg and on monthly prevention. She is house trained, crate trained, and loves all people including kids. With proper introduction she adapts well to being with other dogs, but needs supervision.

Storms really upset her, and she does best if separated from other dogs when there is bad weather or rain. Before we realized this, Cami had a couple of bad encounters with larger dogs that have resulted in her being pretty scarred up. She also lost an eye to a ferrell cat last year. So she has had a rough go, and Dog Star's ultimate preference is that she be an only dog. We just don't want to take any more chances on her getting hurt again.

Overall, she is a very sweet little dog who likes both kids and older folks. She is calm, well behaved, loves to snuggle, go for walks, visit Petsmart, and get her belly rubbed.

Always wanted a Pittie but not sure you want a dog that big? Cami is your girl!
