Cece's Story...
My name is Cece, and I am a 10 week old Border Collie mix little girl. I love to play with my sister, Ciera and with toys. I am a little shy, but warm up quickly. I play hard and nap hard. I can be seen at the AARF Adoption Fairs on Saturdays from noon until 4 at 311 Harvey Street in Winston Salem. Due to a home visit being part of the adoption process I cannot be adopted more than a one hour radius from Winston Salem.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cece, a Winston-Salem Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
