Lucy's Info...
| Breed: | Russian Blue | Color: | Gray Or Blue | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Medium |
Sweet and petite little Lucy is the epitome of female, the way she carries herself, the way she crosses her paws when she lays down, one would think she went to Kitty Charm School for all of her grace and poise. Lucy is very affectionate and likes to petted. She has been an inside only kitty and as such is very healthy. She was given up because her owner has a toddler and a baby and poor Lucy is so stressed. Lucy has another female kitty friend that she likes a lot, so we know that she'll be fine with another kitty. We just need to find this beauty a quiet home with older children so Lucy will be much happier. NO DOGS & NO CHILDREN UNDER 7yrs of age.
To start the adoption process please email us at ajbfcats@gmail and request a Matchmaker Questionnaire.
You can see this kitty by Appointment Only once we receive the application.
Thank you for thinking rescue and adoption....and for saving a life. It will be the best gift you ever give yourself and your family
Rescue Group Info...
AJ’s Best Friends Rescue is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit companion animal rescue organization working in the East Valley suburbs of Phoenix, AZ.
We are comprised entirely of experienced volunteers united and inspired by a common compassion for all animals. Our primary focus is on saving Persians & Himalayan cats destined to be euthanized in the area shelters or in other dangerous, life-threatening situations.
Each orphaned animal we help is provided proper veterinary attention, as required, and then is placed into one of our Foster Homes. Our Foster Home program is key to helping a homeless animal become a loving pet. Some of "our" cats need extra special care and attention to recuperate from medical, mental or physical neglect/abuse, or simply to regain their confidence and trust in people, but they all receive lots of TLC and basic family member training.
Another part of our philosophy and practice is building alliances with other cooperative rescue organizations, shelters, veterinarians, media, small and large caring companies, city and county agencies. By working together, we can save more lives and eliminate the unnecessary deaths of so many orphaned animals while enhancing the lives of people as well.
We conduct private adoptions by appointment only. Please contact us by email. The address listed is a Mailing address only. There are no animals at that address.
We require that you fill out our Cat Matchmaker Questionnaire, found on our website, to determine if there is compatibility between you and the animal. When a match has been made, we require an adoption services fee and a completed adoption contract.
We serve the SW region of the US. Anyone who is approved will be invited to Phoenix, AZ to meet the cats. We do not ship.
