Princess's Story...
Princess is a very sweet, 1 year old American Staffordshire Terrier that loves to cuddle! She was found as a stray in Rochester. She is great with other dogs and very friendly with people of all ages and passed her temperment test with flying colors. Princess still has a lot of puppy in her but is quickly learning basic commands and her house manners. She is mostly house trained but, as she is still afraid of being abandoned, Princess does not like to be outside by herself. We are working on this but, it does lead to a few accidents. If she can see you or if she is out with another dog then she is just fine. Princess is learning quickly what to do with toys and loves running in the yard with people or other dogs. She is also just as happy curling up on a blanket or in your lap. She is crated trained, does well on a leash, loves people and other animals. Princess would be great in any size family, with or without children. If you would like to be that family, please submit an Adoption Application for Princess today. Her Adoption Donation is $275.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Rochester American Staffordshire Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Rochester, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
