Little One's Story...
Little One is a super sweet six year old, exotic looking tabby. This beautiful little lady recently lost her owner and is looking for someone new to love her and give her a forever home. She has been an only cats but seems to adapt well to other cats. She is quiet but will talk back with a sweet meow when you talk to her. She must be kept as an indoor only kitty. Little One just visited the vet where she was brought up to date with shots, a bath, shave and nail trim. When you adopt this amazing little furry girl she will come to your with a scratchy samll tower, a cat carrier and all of her bowls. Little One is in Cerritos at the moment but the person caring for her will drive her to a new home if needed. Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Our organization was started because our local animal shelter does not have space for abandoned and/or lost pets. Laguna Woods is a retirement community and our residents often end up going to assisted living or passing away, and kitties are left homeless. There was a real need for someone to step up and fill this need, so we established a network of foster homes and a website and a petfinder site to advertise our kitties needing homes. We provide an initial vet exam immediately and pay for services including medical care, shots, spay and neuter, etc.
Donate to Our Rescue Group...
Donations are accepted for both relinquished cats and adopted cats. No specific amount is required.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We have boutiques twice a year, in late fall and early spring, to raise funds for our pets. We sometimes have some of our animals at those events. We also have posters with our kitties displayed around our community and we have both our www.lagunawoodscatclub.com site as well as our petfinder site with photos, discriptions and contact info.
Our Adoption Process...
We ask for an adoption donation of at least $50. but will waive it for adopters that appear to be excellent potential pet parents.
We have a two page information form and do a preliminary home visit. Our adopters must promise to keep the kitty as an indoor only pet and must agree to return the kitty to our organization if they can no longer care for it.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We serve an area extending from Los Angeles to San Diego, California... an area of about 200 miles. Most of our adoptions take place in Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little One, a Laguna Woods Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Laguna Woods, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Laguna Woods.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laguna Woods already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laguna Woods breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laguna Woods paves the way for another one to be saved.
