Bubbles's Story...
Hi, I am Bubbles! I was picked up by animal control when I was found wandering. No one came to claim me. I was really scared about everyone and everything. My foster family brought me home and showed me what it's like to be loved. Wow! I like this new way of living. I only weigh 6.5 lbs and am full grown. I am happiest when I am sitting with someone. I am still afraid of loud noises and people that move too quickly. Only homes/families without children will be considered. I am crate trained and housebroken using pee pads. I hope to find my new family very soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubbles, a Houston Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
