Petey's Story...
Petey is a gentle, sweet-tempered pit bull mix, about 1-2 years of age. He enjoys walks, adores his treats, and is great with people and other dogs of all sizes. Sadly, Petey was given up by someone who decided that he no longer wanted Petey because he was going off to college, so he turned Petey in to a kill shelter. Despite facing this hardship and betrayal, Petey continues to be extremely lovable and social with everyone. If you wish to make him a part of your family and give him a great life, please come visit. And please remember, Petey is looking for his forever home, a family to stick by him. Petey would be by your side through thick or thin, and deserves nothing but the same in return. For more information please contact Ruby Kesar 347 730 3889. This is a Courtesy listing

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Freeport American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Freeport, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
