Ruby Blue's Story...
Ruby Blue was rescued out of a very high kill shelter in the city. Ruby is about 1 1/2 years old pitty mix. As you see in her picture she has one blue eye and one brown Very Pretty Girl!! She seems to be crate trained as she never makes a mess in her kennel. She is still coming out of her shell as she has no idea where she is and why :( Ruby can get a little nervous meeting you at first but warms up to people fast. She will have that tail going and gives tons of kisses. Ruby loves the affection and will give you even more :) She can get attached to her person fast.

If you are a runner/jogger or love to go on long walks Ruby will be a great partner, she has TONS of energy! When she was in her foster home she lived with another dog but she can be dog selective, she will need to be introduced to other dogs slowly.

Ruby Blue has all her vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped, heart-worm tested and frontlined.

Please come meet Ruby Blue at our Freeport location 2 rider place 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm! or email us at Adopt@bobbicares.org for more info :)

Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby Blue, a Freeport American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky for sale in Freeport, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
