Cici's Story...
Cici came to us as a teenage mom trying to care for 6 newborn babies! She did the best she could, but was overwhelmed at times. She has blossomed now that the kids have left the house. She has a thick lustrous coat & a very playful personality. Born about Summer, 2010, she still acts like a kitten at times, usually warning you that she is going to pounce or sprint away by asking you with a little raccoon-like "Hmm?" We think she is asking "Are you watching me now?" Her photos tell the story of how pretty she looks. She has as pretty a personality. Good with cats, children, & most dogs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cici, a Bedford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
