My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buttons is a delightful dilute calico Exotic Shorthair Persian who came to HPC when her owner died and she was dumped at the shelter with a group of 20 other Persians.
When we first got Buttons she was very thin, matted and had a bad ear infection which caused her to have balance problems.
She was also very skittish and shy.
With lots of TLC, ear medication, patience and good food she is now a healthy, strong and happy little girl. She plays like there is no tomorrow, has no more balance issues, she chases any toy and is just a funny little sweetheart.
Buttons is extremely affectionate and will stand up on two feet to reach up for pets. She rubs her head into my hands and loves ear scratches. Buttons follows me around and meows sweetly to talk with me. She lets me hold her more and more, she was not used being held but seems to enjoy it when held securely and while being pet.
She loves her wet food, she still needs to gain weight so she can eat as much as two cans(5.5oz) additional to her dry food.
This little girl is now ready for a loving forever home. She is still shy and skittish at times so a quiet home would be best for her.
Buttons is good with other cats.
