I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from CCHS, you have to complete an online application at http://www.collincountyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application.html and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.
*I AM A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF WHICH MEANS I HAVE BEEN IN THE CCHS ADOPTION PROGRAM FOR OVER THREE MONTHS. MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO $75*
Little Ben was found abandoned in the country. He's energetic, but also loves to snuggle up on the couch. Ben would be a great companion for another small dog who likes to run. He knows just how to pester his little terrier buddy into chasing him around the yard. Ben is a zippy little guy who is 1-2 years old, weighs 12 pds and has been neutered. He sleeps in a crate at night and during the day when his foster family isn't home. Ben is housetrained as long as he is taken out on a regular schedule. Ben is a snuggler and is ready for a new home with a loving family.

Our Purpose is:
To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities
To rescue dogs and puppies from abusive and neglectful situations, including puppy mills and "backyard breeders"
To help educate the public on proper animal care and promote spaying and neutering of all pets
To provide medical treatment for animals in our care
To provide foster homes for animals in our care
To place rescued animals in permanent, loving homes
To build and maintain a facility to house rescued animals and host adoptions.
To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.
Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
