OLD GIRL's Story...
This “Old Girl” ain’t what she use to be, but some of us just get better with age! Mature means no chewing up the furniture or shoes, no necessity for obedience classes and no house training. No jumping up and getting your clean clothes dirty or chasing her down the street. Just a relaxing day hanging out together in the sunshine or in front of the TV. And This old girl will listen to your stories, perk her ears with interest at every detail, and never correct your mistakes. She will never criticize what you wear or if you eat too much (as long as you share a little with her). This companionship is an ideal way to grow old together

She won’t require anything fancy, just a soft rug on the floor, a fresh bowl of water, some food and a gentle hand to stroke her behind the ears. In return she would give unconditional love and devotion. You couldn’t get a better deal then that!

Old Girl really needs a better name to make her feel as special as she can be to someone. If that someone is you, I know she will love and appreciate any name you bestow upon her.

Old Girls foster mom has decided to adopt Old Girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OLD GIRL, a Oakland Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
