Princeton's Story...
I am an adorable German Wirehaired Pointer/ Labrador Retriever mix, only 8 weeks old and I am destined to be a high achiever! Now that I am here in the shelter I am hoping to find a home of my own right away! My mom was small German Wirehaired Pointer so I am probably not going to be all that big. If you and your family are ready to raise a youngster than I would love to meet you- we can have a life long relationship! My adoption fee is $250 and includes; current shots, reduced cost neuter and $25 neuter rebate, 1 month pet health insurance, Free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area) , 5 week training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princeton, a Portland German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Wirehaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
