Digory's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/digory.html -- Digory was adopted as a puppy 3.5 years ago by his current family. He is a beautiful dark chocolate color and quite large.
Digory is seeking a new home because he is very protective of the family. He is GREAT with the children and other animals in the home. But, there are a LOT of friends and clients that come to the home and Digory is not completely accepting of all this human traffic. The bottom line issue is a lack of balance in the human pack.

A professional Cesar Millan Ambassador trainer has been engaged to help the family and Digory to balance the pack.

Digory is a great dog that would be best with a family that has a true human alpha in the home at all times. He needs / wants a strong leader.

His dad Zebra has a very similar personality but lives in a very balanced pack with many other dogs and many humans and the humans are alpha.

Again, Digory is NOT aggressive. He can be protective of the family and property. This can easily be adjusted with a alpha pack leader.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Digory, a Gilbert Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
