My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

http://www.valleydogs.org/vitalia.html -- "Vitalia" means "full of life" in Italian. What better way to describe this little 10 pound force! She is part Chihuahua and part Doxie or Italian Greyhound so I guess we can call her an "Iggyhuahua!"

Vitalia is approximately 4 years old and was originally found abandoned as a pup and made her home with a family who loves and cares for her, but unfortunately is unable to keep her due to her incompatibility with small children and the family's plan to start a family. Vitalia does not take to small children as she does not understand their sudden movements and loud noises. It is best for Vitalia to find another loving home with older children or with no children at all. She gets along with other small dogs, gentle big dogs, even cats, and loves her adult people.

Vitalia has a sweet and commanding nature. She loves to give kisses, be the lap dog of the family, hang out with and protect her people. Chew toys and bones don't have a chance as this energetic girl is playful but also enjoys many naps! She is very loyal and she makes her presence known when she hears suspicious noises. She bonds well to those whom she meets and trusts and will act as protector to them. She is smart and simply needs a dog savvy person who understands her.

If you like to walk, so does Vitalia! She enjoys being on the move, car rides and lounging in the sun. She knows her basic training commands and is crate and house trained to use doggy doors! This "diva" is ready for a new home where she can thrive and be the princess of the house. Don't forget her included wardrobe as she loves to play dress up!
