Pepsi's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/pepsi.html -- Pepsi was abandoned at a boarding facility by her owner. Hard to believe as beautiful as she is.
Pepsi is desperate to find a new home as she has been in a kennel for 90 days. She is showing signs of kennel stress and urgently needs out.

She walks VERY well on a leash and knows basic commands. She is very treat driven and easily trained.

She is an Alpha and has many traits of a husky. So, a strong human leader is required to ensure she understands her place in the pack.

Pepsi may be ok with submissive larger dogs but is very selective.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepsi, a Gilbert Husky/Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Akita for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Husky/Akita dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Akita breeders who help with Husky/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
