Paisley's Story...
Meet Paisley! She is a wonderful 2 year old female, we think shepherd/collie mix maybe? She’s definitely 100% dog! Paisley is a little shy at first, but gets along great with dogs, cats and children. She has been in a home and in a boarding situation and she has done great in both! Paisley is up to date on all shots, spayed and micro chipped. She is heartworm negative, and current on flea and hw prevention. Paisley would love to be in a home with other dogs, so if you are looking for a companion pet, or just a snuggle bunny, come and meet Paisley! Contact info@forrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Nashville Border Collie/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Golden Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Border Collie/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
