Marrc's Story...

Hi, I'm Marrc! I am a very busy little boy. I love mealtimes, but I am also a little dear heart who loves to curl up in your arms and give you kisses with my nose! I adjusted to my foster family very quickly. Now I like to be near people and my stepbrother Tiny Tim. I am a small, cute, and funny little guy with a beautiful white exclamation mark on my back. I love being with Tiny Tim and need to be adopted with him, because he is the yin to my yang. You put us both together and it is a big, loud purr-fest.

Both Marrc and Tiny Tim are wonderful with other cats and would probably adjust to a dog if introduced slowly. These boys are very relaxed but can be playful and would do well in a home with children or a couple who want the fun of kittens and the comfort of snuggles. They are easily trained, excellent with their litter, and very very good being on their own during the day and sleeping quietly through the night. They are funny, handsome, playful, smart and thoughtful kitties.

Marrc's favourite place to sleep is curled up on you, lap, chest, or neck. If it's a somewhat horizontal surface, Marrc will sleep on it, purring all the time. These boys need a home and family of their own -- they just have too much love to keep to themselves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marrc, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
