Saturday's Info...

Saturday's Story...
Saturday came to us from a shelter as the shelter was overflowing with dogs. This one year old entered a shelter as a stray. In her short life she had not had much care as her hair was matted to the skin with lots of fleas. After a bath and a haircut, she looked and felt so much better. Saturday is young dog about 1 year of age. She enjoys playing with other young dogs and with dog toys. This little 6 lbs Maltese Mix is a very happy little dog who is seeking a caring, adoptive family. She has been spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are current.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saturday, a Fort Braff Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Lhasa Apso for sale in Fort Braff, or seeking a Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Fort Braff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Braff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Braff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Maltese/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Braff paves the way for another one to be saved.
