Here is what Macy’s foster family had to say:
Macy is friendly with everyone. I think her previous home had children as she really gets excited to see my kids and meet new ones. She would be best with kids big enough to handle a big dog jumping in their lap to give kisses. She loves playing with our dog Cupcake and for the most part plays gently. When she gets too rough she gets snarled at and quickly backs off. She needs more training but all the hard work is done (potty and crate training). She is a bit nervous around strange dogs and barking dogs are super scary at first.
She is very good at picking up on household routines quickly (like waiting outside the kitchen while I dish up the dog food until given permission to enter and eat). She does try to bolt out the door, is very quiet in her crate and is eager to learn.
Macy Lou is a loving dog who would be great in any home as long as she got the exercise she needed. I would never trust her off leash as her nose guides her when she is outside but an off leash park would be great fun. She rides well in the car, loves going for walks and really has a ball playing with our dog.
