Barney's Story...
Barney a short and chubbie sweetheart! A BLUE Brindle. Beautiful inside and out, Barney is around 2 or 3 years old. UP TO DATE ON and Neutered. He is house trained and Crate trained. This boy really loves belly rubs and trick training time. He's. A great learner and is submissive towards other dogs. Barney has been with us 5 months, waiting for his forever family. Barney is very playful and with his weight we would advise interested people to note, he needs to be trained around small children as far as we know, he has not had experences with small kids or cats, Not to say he wouldn't d well, just that training and supervision will need to be a factor.
BARNEY IS READY, Bareny knows basic commands sit, lay, stay, and no,paw(shake) an we are working on RElease, we are very awear of how strong our rescues are (no matter thebreed) we do not play tug with our rescues, instead we play catch, most dogs get here already use to playing tug, we have hadgood experenice changing that tug interest to a catch and release game.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Whitakers American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Whitakers, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Whitakers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitakers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitakers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitakers paves the way for another one to be saved.
