11/20/12 - Happy Howlidays!
I have written my letter to Santa letting him know my address has changed from “One Crate on Puppy Mill Lane” to “Fussy Bed on Road to Adoption”.
Since I have been such a good boy this year, I was hoping he would grant my Christmas Wish… A family to call my own!!!
My hair is growing back nicely since going to the groomer and getting a nice shave down. My original skin infection is completely gone and you would never know I had one at all. I have gained about a pound since my arrival at my foster home. I am a happy, healthy little boy with lots of love to give. Foster Mommy says I will make someone a great lap dog. I am forever grateful for the fresh bowl of water and food I get every day and for the warmth of my new snuggly bed. I can now walk up and down the back stairs to go potty outside and I am not a barker. I will however, speak when my Foster parents come home or if I hear a funny noise in the house.
I need to get back to helping the pups decorate the house for the howlidays. I want it to look extra nice when Santa arrives so he can grant me my wish…
Hoping he decides to come early….
9/18/12 - My sister and I were both taken to a shelter and they called Yorkie Haven Rescue to see if they could help us.I was rescued from a long life of breeding as a puppy mill dog in Columbia, SC with my sister Gretel. (Well, we aren’t sure if we are related but we might as well be since we were rescued together.) I’ve lived the majority of my life in a crate with no love and affection. However, Foster Mommy says I am the sweetest little boy ever. I am underweight right now but am working on fattening myself up nicely. I am getting neutered and having my dental done on September 18, 2012 so I don’t ever have to worry about going back to work at the mill. I have a skin infection right now, but will be taking my medication for 3 weeks and should be cleared up nicely. Foster Mommy says my beautiful white coat should grow back nicely so I will be my handsome self again. I am very friendly and once I’ve sniffed you out, I will be sure to give you a kiss. I’m not familiar with stairs and am therefore carried up and down the stairs, but hey… I could get used to this kind of treatment! I tend to walk in circles outside, but Foster Mommy says that’s from my previous life living in a crate. I am a very, very happy boy though and am so thankful for my new foster home. I know my time here is short because I am still looking for my Furever Family to love. I like the idea of playing and love affection. If you think we’d make a good fit, please apply to adopt me.
