Nugget is neutered, house-trained, and up-to-date on all his shots. He is very smart and knows most of his basic commands. He has never been aggressive to our cats or our baby, in fact, he likes to play with the cats and lick the baby.

He has had a hard time with HEEL, STAY, and COME, mostly because he has so much energy and has difficulty focusing for very long. Nugget gets so excited, I was always worried he would get carried away and accidentally hurt the cats. Also, there were a couple incidents where he would come running in the room and jump up on the couch without realizing the baby was sleeping there (which was obviously more our fault). He has also always been fantastic with other dogs. But Nugget is so loving and loves affection and just being near you. I've fallen asleep in front of the TV many times with him snoozing on my chest. He is truly a great dog that just needs someone with the time, patience, and willingness to be active with him and exercise him all the time. I would advise no cats or small children, however other dogs should be great for him.
