Olly Bear's Story...
**COURTESY POSTING**

We are willing and committed to getting the best home for Olly Bear and transport can be arranged for this special boy.
Olly Bear is about four years of age (Sept. 2012). He weighs 62 pounds. He is fairly mellow, and loves to cuddle and just hang out with his favorite people. He is low-key, does well on the leash and knows his basic commands. Olly Bear is treat-motivated so we can see him learning all sorts of tricks in his future home. He is crate-trained and leash-trained.

Olly Bear is great around other animals, as long as they don't try to mount him and show dominance. Olly Bear occasionally mounts other dogs, but a quick "get down" or "no" will get him to stop. Right now, he is being fostered with another mini Schnauzer and Poodle. They do wonderfully together. Our trainer has always told us that he would do best with another female dog.

Olly Bear is friendly to people, and allows all others to pet him. He often curls up on patio furniture to take a nap while we take him out to adoptions. It's quite a cute scene to watch:). He is a charmer. He has a sensitive personality; he will cower and bow his head down when he senses that a person is upset or angry. Perhaps this arises from his past when he was completely neglected, chained up, and left to die on his own. The Fuzzy Pet Foundation rescued him after he was seized from his original owners by law enforcement officers.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
ARF started in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and because of the shocking treatment we saw many animals in the Deep South endure we have stayed committed to helping animals in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. Many of these wonderful animals would be killed in a shelter if not for our continued efforts.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption donation: $425.00 for our adult dogs 9 mos to 5 years and $325.00 for those who are older than 5 years of age. Un-neutered puppies (not fixed because they are too young) are $425.00 and neutered puppies <9mos old are $475.00. The adoption donation helps reimburse us for the vetting required to keep our animals healthy and safe, and if age-appropriate, spayed and neutered. As we rescue from the Deep South your adoption donation also helps offset the costs associated with getting your new family member home. We do require you to fill out an application and provide a vet reference, and a home inspection may be requested. Every animal we adopt MUST be spayed/neutered and we reserve the right to request proof of this. Our adoption application is on our website at: www.animalrescuefront.org

Thanks for rescuing!

Please note - we will not adopt a puppy to anyone who is not willing and committed to ensuring they never reproduce. Spaying and neutering your pet contributes to efforts to reduce unwanted and homeless animals in the United States and your animal will be healthier. Our adoption fees are nonrefundable.
