simon's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

simon's Story...
Simon is a energetic and active senior citizen! He doesn't look or act his age of 10 years old. Upon arriving he had to have one eye removed, but he is so thankful that the pain is gone. He does have limited vision in his other eye, due to cataracts, but that does not slow him down at all. He would love a home where someone could take him out and play or walk him multiple times a day and he would prefer to have a human home with him. Simon will be a great companion and will bring years of joy and love into your life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

simon, a Des Moines Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
