Mageera is a 3 year old, black & white, neutered male, mixed pup. According to his DNA tes (which will be provided)t he is half American Staffordshire Terrier, a quarter Boston Terrier & a quarter other various mixed breeds. He is up to date on all his shot and micro-chipped. He sat at the Rancho Cucamonga Shelter in a cage for EIGHTEEN MONTHS which is a testament to what GREAT dog he is. Shelters only keep WONDERFUL dogs this long!!!!. LIke his foster (and the volunteer that advocated for him) the only reason he survived that long at a kill shelter is because he is such a fabulous dog. He is very dog friendly but not overly obnoxious. While at the shelter he was a playgroup participant, where 10+ other dogs, male and female, are allowed to play under supervision off leash in the yards. Mageera had many female roommates over the year and a half he was there. They were all adopted while Mageera was repeatedly left behind to wonder why. He currently lives in a foster home with a small dog, an extra-large dog & a blind/deaf older dog & he does great with everyone. He is even doing well with the cats. He went through basic obedience at the shelter and was trained to walk on a gentle leader head harness. He was a star pupil & his foster mom thinks he would be easily trained to get his Canine Good Citizen. Mageera is housebroken, sleeps through the night, and crates well when he left home alone and at night. He loves chewing on toys and bones and can just relax and watch T.V. He loves to play tug and fetch, but his favorite thing is to get some love and affection. Mageera has velvety fur, which is wash and go and very low shedding. Mageera rides great in the car and loves trips to the park. If you are looking for a friend for life look no further Mageera is your boy. Please someone give him the forever home he deserves, he has been waiting over half his life. Won't you give Mageera the forever home he FINALLY deserves???
