Sabrina's Story...
Spay and neuter. Spay and neuter. Spay and neuter. We can't say it enough and we'll keep on shouting it from the rooftops until there are no more unwanted animals! Sabrina is one of a litter of seven black lab puppies. The mother's owner continues to promise us he'll bring her in for spaying but instead continues to bring us unwanted puppies! We'll keep working on him and in the meantime try to find a great home for little Sabrina. She's healthy and a real darling. A little ball of fuzzy loving. She's only a few months old so it's a great time to create a lasting bond with her. Email adoptions@homelesspets.com or fax an application (found at homelesspets.com/adoptions) to 770-971-1292. Or come play with Sabrina at 1343 Gresham Rd, Marietta 30062 (Mon-Thurs 8-8, Fri 8-6).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabrina, a Marietta Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
