My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudy is a friendly little gentleman. He is small in stature and big in personality. His owner passed on but Rudy is definitely not ready to throw in the towel. He is an active little guy that needs someone to love as much as he does. He is friendly with everyone and is just a little character. Rudy is believed to be 10 – 12 years old and weighs approximately 13 lbs.



Here is what else his foster mom had to say:



Despite his age, Rudy has a real zest for life. He loves going for walks and exploring nearby parks. He also enjoys laying down with a good bone or playing with his people. Rudy is active outdoors and settles in nicely while inside. He prefers to have a nice blanket to lie on where he creates a little nest for himself to relax in. He is not a needy dog but does yearn for human companionship.



Rudy loves to be with his people but he is not overbearing and prefers to be near you rather then sitting in your lap. Rudy is friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets, including children and other animals. As he is older, Rudy is a little bit hard of hearing but listens very well if you speak loud enough. He seems to get around just fine and appears healthy for his age.



Rudy does cry when his people leave him and would prefer to have someone who is home most of the day. Rudy is a low maintenance pet who would be great for a retired person/couple or someone who works from home and wants a little buddy around.
