Find a pet to adopt
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Hi! I’m Brandy. I’m a very unique looking gal. I’m seven months old but I don’t expect to get much bigger. When they first brought me here I heard them say that I am a little on the thin side but have a heart the size of Texas. I don’t know how well I am with other dogs or how I do on a leash but with me being as young as I am, I bet I can be trained to do just about anything. If you think a young gal like me would fit nicely into your family come see me, Brandy, at High Sierra Animal Rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option
Brandy, a Portola Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Portola, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Portola.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portola already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portola breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who
help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Portola paves the way for another one to be saved.
