Curley's Story...
I am Curley, a Yellow Labrador Retriever/Possibly Red Heeler Mix.). I was chained up with my 2 buddies outside of a condemned and abandoned home. But I was lucky that the kind rescue lady took me home. I am approximately one year old or younger. I have lots of puppy energy and lots of love to give. I love to give kisses and going on walks. I am getting better at walking on the leash each day. I am really smart and respond well to commands.
I have been to the vet for my first round of shots, and tested negative for heartworms. I even do well with baths!
The rescue ladies are in urgent need of foster families who have experience in socializing dogs like us. During that time, I will receive vet care and get neutered. All expenses will be re-imbursed by the rescue people, they are busy getting a support group together for the 3 of us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Curley, a Nolensville Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Nolensville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Nolensville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nolensville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nolensville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nolensville paves the way for another one to be saved.
