Teddy's Story...
Teddy is a terrier who is about 8 years old. He was close to death when he was rescued. He must have been on the streets for quite a long time because he was disoriented, dehydrated and starving. He just walked under a car that was stopped at a stop sign and would not move. He is now much better, but he still has skin issues which he is being treated for and should be healed shortly. He seems to be partially deaf. He is neutered, hearworm negative and up to date on his vaccinations. He loves to eat and has already gained over 2 pounds. He now weighs 13 pounds. He gets along wtih other dogs, cats and children. He is a very laid back mellow dude. He is looking for his forever home. Please contact us for more information about adopting Teddy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Clermont Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Clermont, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Clermont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clermont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clermont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clermont paves the way for another one to be saved.
