Vern and Fred's Story...
Mega sweet & outgoing brothers Vern & Fred must be adopted together as they're bonded beyond belief. These fun & quirky brothers are made for someone who is NOT looking for lazy kitties-just provide them with some fun toys & you'll have hours of enjoyment watching them play together. They adore attention & are very 'dog like'. Vern (black boy) likes to run & jump into your arms as you walk in the door, while Fred (orange tabby) has a little short tail and is chatty, begging for attention and love. When they cozy up together your heart will melt & you'll know adopting a pair of such adorable brothers was exactly the right choice. If you're looking for eternal sunshine, these are the boys for you. They're neutered, have all their shots & are ready to find someone as special as they are. Contact foster mom Jacquie at info@luxepaws.org to meet these sweet, adorable kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vern and Fred, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
