Speedy's Story...
Speedy is a 4 year old male Chihuahua who came to us from a high kill shelter. He was seriously underweight and needed care but, despite all that, Speedy is the happiest, most loving dog ever! He lights up when you walk into the room and wants nothing more than to please.
Speedy is a 4 year old male Chihuahua who came to us from a high kill shelter. He was seriously underweight and needed care but, despite all that, Speedy is the happiest, most loving dog ever! He lights up when you walk into the room and wants nothing more than to please.
Speedy is loving and sweet. He enjoys playing and rolling around the backyard with the other dogs, going for walks and cuddling on any warm lap he can find.
He is house broken, doggie door and crate trained. He is not destructive and gets along wonderfully with men, women, children and smaller dogs but, he doesn't seem to care much larger dogs.
Speedy is current on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered and is ready for his forever home. If you would like to meet Speedy please email us for an application. cyndyb@rocketmail.com

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. In July of 2009 we joined together with fellow rescuers on a mission to save a pack of about 30 dogs from the Fort McDowell Casino area and by the end of the year we had rescued over 80 dogs from there! AZ Happy Tails is committed to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, and e-listed animals as well. We think all pets deserve caring and compassionate homes, and the chance to live healthy, happy lives in safe environments. We strive to educate and raise awareness of the importance of animal respect and appreciation.

Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in adopting a pet from us please contact us via e-mail. We will get you our adoption questionnaire to fill out an return for our review. We will then do a meet and greet with the pet including a visit to your home to make sure the pet feels comfortable and is in a safe environment!
