ZEEBO's Story...
Zeebo is a wonderful little guy. I have been told he is a Deer Chihuahua. He loves to walk on a leash. And if you want someone to play ball with he is your man. He will chase a ball and bring it back as long as you want him to. He loves to cuddle in your lap and be petted. He was rescued from death row at a high kill shelter. I was there pulling another dog to foster and Zeebo was next in line to be killed that night so he came home with me too. He gets along with other dogs but much more bonds with his human family than other dogs. He does not like cats. His foster Mom has 4 cats and he does not like them at all and the feeling is mutual. He will be a wonderful companion to someone who enjoys the company of a dog.

We require an application, home check, contract, spay/neuter or deposit (if too young for spay/neuter at time of adoption) and adoption donation. Zeebo 's adoption donation is $200.00.

To meet Zeebo, please contact The Poopie Foundation at 818-988-7940 or send an email to

We make every effort to contact you ASAP. Applications are not first come, they are based on best fit for the household and our pup.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZEEBO, a Mission Viejo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
