Kyle's Story...
This kitten is a dog lover. Don't get me wrong, he loves his people too, but the romance he's had with my German Wirehaired Pointer is touching. He really needs a home with a big old dog that he can cuddle with, and follow from pillar to post. He's a long, lean boy with pretty tabby markings. He's definitely one of his foster mom's favorites. He's a teenager now, so full of energy and silliness. You can see him at my home once your application has been approved.
Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $100, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application and email it to mtavenner@roadrunner.com or fax it to 267-636-4086.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kyle, a Winchester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
