Dylan's Story...
Hi everyone my name is Dylan. I am a beautiful (humble, I know) 7 year old fawnequin. Okay, please don't panic over the age...I am a very young in mind and body seven year old. I was recently neutered and boy was THAT an experience. Thank heavens I don't need to do that twice in one lifetime! The vets were even surprised at my age...I'm telling you, with me you get all the dane and none of the puppy nonsense. I consider myself quite the catch! My foster mom says I am one of the best foster danes she's ever had! I get along with the three resident dogs and I love, I mean LOVE!!! kids and people. I've been to football games, visited other people's homes and never been anything short of fantastic. Right now I'm staying on a farm and am allowed free roam when someone is outside with me. I always come when called and love to play frisbee and go for long walks. I did, purely by accident, chase the cows the first week I was here. However, the cows thought I was a calf and chased me back! Let's just say I haven't chased a cow since...I haven't figured the barn cats out though. They run and I want to chase them. My foster mom says this is NOT okay. If I see a cat and it doesn't biggie. I think I would do best in a home with a dog savvy cat. I am free roam when in the house and have always been very good. I've never used a crate and my foster mom says there would be no need to crate me...that's how AWESOME I am!! Please check out my pictures and consider giving me a furever foster mom is getting a little too attached (if you know what I mean!!) --

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dylan, a Inver Grove Heights Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Inver Grove Heights, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Inver Grove Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inver Grove Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inver Grove Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inver Grove Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
